Importance Of Internet Marketing

I’m reading a book that has turned out to be very quality.  I was most impressed that the author of the book is quite young and discusses how he helped a company go from basically zero to one million dollars in sales within one year.

The cool part is that he did that at the age of 17!  The book, Zero to One Million, has provided a unique insight into just what the title discusses.

The section that I came across that I will share with you here involves what we discuss on this blog, how to use the web to market your company.  In fact in a lot of the book he talks about how the success of that company was from utilizing a few areas of Internet Marketing that propelled it to success very quickly - search engine optimization, affiliate marketing, and email marketing which we discuss throughout the blog.

Before providing his insight, I recommend this book for any business who is wanting to reach that next level in terms of taking their business into the 7 figure mark and beyond.

From Ch 14:

“Web marketing is not something many business owners are used to doing or for that matter very good at.  However, it is something that can launch a business from nowhere to doing tens of thousands of dollars in sales per week in a matter of a few months.  If you have a product that is sold to consumers or small businesses and sells for under $500, this plan (the incorporation of web marketing) is tailored to your type of business and will allow you to skyrocket your sales without spending a dime upfront.  If you run a service-based business, this plan will help attract new customers both locally and nationally.  And if you run a business that sells a product that costs more than $500, web marketing strategies will help you generate thousands of unique leads per week.”

Business owners, professionals, retailers, service businesses, local and global, large and small, any business or product can somehow be tailored to the web.  It is a great medium that everyone should have in their marketing strategy.

If they aren’t they’re losing money and clients.

To your success,

Joe Collinsworth
