Dayton Web Design vs Web Marketing

Let’s talk about Dayton web design vs web marketing as we are coming across many business owners who aren’t aware of the differences between the two.

There are many web design companies out there and we have seen a lot of great websites that have been designed by Dayton area design companies.

The look and feel and format is appealing to the eye, they have been easy to navigate, and so forth.  We have also seen a number of them that could use a facelift when it comes to design.  Then there’s the third camp that doesn’t even have a website at all.

We must tell you folks that don’t, that you are losing business.  We used to get business for our accounting firm just because we had a website.

The design of your site is a key component and one area of your web presence that you should heavily consider, but it is only one component.  Most companies stop right there and don’t consider the marketing aspect, so their well designed site collects dust instead of customers.

Other aspects of Dayton web design vs web marketing…

With all the research we’ve been doing surrounding local companies to work with, we have yet to come across sites that are properly optimized so they are easily found when someone goes looking for their type of service or product.

This falls into the web marketing camp.  There are a lot of ways to make sure that you not only have a well-designed site, but you are also easily found when a potential customer goes to a search engine.  And that you can follow up with them after they leave your site.

Some of the ways you can market your site once it is designed include blogging, search engine optimization, pay per click advertising, joint ventures, email marketing, social networking, video creation and submission, article writing, content creation, link building, and more!!!

Setting up your web marketing and presence is very similar to other marketing strategies you may be involved in.  It’s just one way to market your business, so you certainly need a plan and implementation strategy.

We have and will continue to discuss Internet marketing for your local Dayton business, but we wanted to clear up this misconception - that there is a difference between Dayton web design vs web marketing.

Get out of the stone age of the yellow pages and expensive offline marketing ventures that all your competitors do and contact us today to discuss setting up a solid plan of attack to get more customers than you can handle!

To your success,
