Advertisers Turning to Internet

Hello.  This post features something that came across my email today.  With the economy still realing and businesses waning left and right as well as strong business just trying to figure out how to collect more cash, keep costs down, and still reach their customers, I thought this feature would be a good post for this particular blog.

Businesses are relying less on print media as the costs are starting to outweight the returns.

The majority (92%) of advertisers are using Internet advertising in their media campaigns followed by print advertising at 88 percent, according to a new LinkedIn Research Network/Harris Poll.

Even less are using radio, television, and mobile advertising - less than 50% each.

How important do you think online advertising is - Contact us to let us know!

Just some other tidbits from the email - 74% of those using the web to market are implementing more of it.

Also that over half are using the web along with other media advertising, but that implementing the web has cut their marketing costs while increasing their exposure.

To understand the importance of a well designed website as well as well targeted marketing here are comments from the consumer side of the surveys…

Over half of Internet consumers are frustrated with the main Internet advertising characteristics (if you’d like to know if you are having these issues, give us a call/email).  To be successful, if you use the web to market your business, you’ll need to come up with creative and more engaging ways to connect with your market.

To sum it up, using the Internet is growing by leaps and bounds.  Consumers are also using the web a lot, but are becoming agitated with how they are marketed to.

Using an experienced company like ours can help you avoid the pitfalls and make sure that you are using the web to generate business and build relationships.

To your success,

Joe Collinsworth
